Bo Zhu

With over 18 years of experience in telecommunication, satellite communication and information industries, Mr. Zhu is widely recognized as a pioneer of IP Telephony in China and a successful entrepreneur. Prior to joining TCG, Mr. Zhu is the founder and CEO of Cgogo Co. Ltd, a global leading mobile search provider to wireless carriers from 2004. Cgogo's investors include Li Ka-Shing Foundation, whose founder is the richest and most influential business person in Asia and JAFCO, a leading Japanese investment firm.

Mr. Zhu was an active angel investor from 2000 to 2003. Prior to becoming an angel investor. Mr. Zhu founded and became the CTO of NeTrue Communications ("NeTrue") in 1996 and eventually became the CEO of NeTrue China prior to it being listed in North America as the first publicly traded IP Telephony company in the world. As the CTO of NeTrue, Mr. Zhu led the technology team and successfully developed leading-edge IP Telephony products which then won 7 major industry product awards. Under his leadership, NeTrue was not only voted one of the 500 Best Telecom Companies Worldwide by Business Week but also named one of the top 10 IP Telephony solution and product providers by Piper Jeffery. As the founder of NeTrue, Mr. Zhu developed strong hands-on experience in launching, developing, and financing emerging growth companies through multiple development stages.

Before founding NeTrue, Mr. Zhu worked with American Express, AEC Express Corp. and IDS Corp. in a variety of roles including senior software consultant, team leader and director of product development. He received a MS Degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University, USA and has been a frequent guest speaker in international forums on voice-over-IP held in the USA, Japan, Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong and China. He was also featured in the Forbes and other well-known business magazines.
