Jean Hong

VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Ms. Hong joined TCG in 2011 as VP, Business Development based out of Shanghai. Ms. Hong has over nine years of marketing, public relations, and investor relations experience with leading multinationals and private equity groups in China. She is currently responsible for new client identification and fund-raising activities.

Prior to joining TCG, Ms. Hong served as Director of LP Relations and Fund Operations for Shanghai Leading Capital Company, a large Chinese PE firm, where she successfully set up RMB PE Funds in Shanghai, Beijing and Zhengzhou. In addition, she assisted in the development and maintenance of investor relations, information disclosure to investors and project portfolio management.

Prior to Leading Capital, Ms. Hong held the position of Executive Assistant to the Presidents of Ingersoll Rand China and TNT China from 2002 to 2008. At TNT China, Ms. Hong assisted in facilitating high-level cooperation between Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) and TNT in a major joint venture in Zhejiang. Ms. Hong was also responsible for organizing the TNT Global CEO’s China trips. At Ingersoll Rand China, Ms. Hong worked as an Executive Assistant to the Asia-Pacific President to ensure smooth and efficient company operations across 11 countries in the region.

Ms. Hong also worked for Coca-Cola China as an Branding Specialist for the Sprite brand in Shanghai for 3 years.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Shanghai International Studies University.
